Letter: The solution to parking issue

As a community driver, I recently had to take a patient to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. It was a lengthy appointment, dropping off at 10am and picking up at 3pm.

I was expecting to pay around £5.60 for my two visits as I would have had to at Calderdale.

Imagine my delight when I read the parking charge board. The charges were similar to Calderdale with one exception – 30 minutes free parking for drop-offs.

How about it Calderdale - if Huddersfield can do it, why can’t you?
