It is a waste of money and effort organising Piece Hall events which are dependent on good weather.
The Piece Hall is a cold and draughty place even in summer. Any money available, surely very little whilst the Council is cutting essential services, should be spent on a roof.
The setts, not cobbles, are a feature of the area and should be left in situ, also the large grassy areas.
The proposed stepped sections will impede traffic flow through the ‘piazza’ and serve no useful purpose.
