Reference the letter from Mr Palmer (Your say, March 1) and his question to Halifax RLFC.
May I take this opportunity to offer Mr Palmer an answer and correct his direction for response.
It is my understanding, and I have no reason for this to have changed of late Mr Palmer, the custodian of the equipment and its loaning on match days is the Shay Stadium management, and the implementation of the listening service is provided for matches at both Halifax RLFC and FC Halifax Town by the Hospital Radio service.
Designated stadium staff on match days are instructed to supply the equipment before the game commences.
You and other visually impaired spectators therefore need to question the stadium management on matters arising and not the football or rugby club.
