Time for council to divulge roads data

Road Safety Minister Mile Penning has decreed that all councils have to release all data appertaining to accidents and casualties at camera sites before and after the instillation, and revenue raised by same going as far back as 1990. Can we now expect our hapless council to provide this information, in this paper before the July 20?

Further, can we have an undertaking from them that they will dismantle all those that are showing to be just revenue raisers from the increasingly hard-done to motorist.

So far this council has shown itself to be woefully inadequate with its roads policy, with ludicrous pavement extensions and road narrowing schemes, perhaps collating information gathered by others won’t prove too hard for them.
