We raised a record £1,500

North Halifax Grammar School

I am the Chairman of the Sixth Form Charity Committee. We raised a whopping £1,500 for red nose day this year.

This included a mega bun sale, a quiz, fancy dress for the whole school and forms bidding on teachers to dress up. It ended where the teachers did a catwalk.

This has been one of the highest amounts we have raised for charity.

Thank you to Mr Barker, Mrs Raw and Mr Wilson and to staff, office staff for baking buns and students. Finally a huge thank you to the Sixth Form Charity Committee who organised all these creative, unique events, especially Sarah Smith, Zoe Murphy, Kehksha Azam, Claire Wright, Helen Parker, Beki Kellet, Beth Smith and Jemma Whitaker for all their hard work and dedication.
