ZUMBA fans raised more than £250 for a cot death charity.

Four instructors led the 20-minute zumba sessions at Siddal Sport Studio Park Lane High School.

Midwife Zoe Russell planned the event for FSID – the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths.

She will run the London marathon for the charity in April.

Zoe’s next event will be an auction at The Malthouse in Rishworth on February 24 where there will be entertainment from Dame Shirley Bazzey. Tickets are £15 and include pie and peas. Lots include cosmetic dental whitening, British Super Bikes passes, a two-night stay at Gilpin Lodge hotel in Windemere, meals at some of Halifax’s finest restaurants, beauty treatments and spa packages and a large children’s hamper.
