See the Carr Green School sign language club perform White Christmas.

All 37 entries to our Sing a Song for Christmas competition are now online and the voting is open.

Our video crew is visiting schools and groups across Calderdale to film videos of Christmas songs.

Listen to the choirs then register your vote on the right hand side.

The voting for this first section will stay open until 3pm on Wednesday December 12.

We will then announce the top ten choirs which go through to our final.

All the finalists will start with zero votes ahead of the Final Ten voting, which will open at 5pm on December 12 and close on Tuesday December 18 at 2pm. The overall winner of Song for Christmas will then be announed on our website and in the Courier on Wednesday December 19.

The winning group will receive £200.

I loved your performance!!! You did such a good job! I am really impressed because I know how difficult it is to learn sign-language. Cheryl / Mrs. Bailey tried to teach me some words last summer and I was not nearly as good as you!!! You can be really proud of yourselves! Thanks for your lovely performance! Nicole

You did a fantastic job - I am really impressed. I know how difficult it is to learn sign-language since Cheryl (Ms. Bailey) tried to teach me some words last summer. Believe me - I did not nearly do as well as you did. You can be really proud of yourselves. Good luck and very merry Christmas to you all! Nicole
