See Sacred Heart Primary School choir sing I Saw a Star.

All 37 entries to our Sing a Song for Christmas competition are now online and the voting is open.

Our video crew is visiting schools and groups across Calderdale to film videos of Christmas songs.

Listen to the choirs then register your vote on the right hand side.

The voting for this first section will stay open until 3pm on Wednesday December 12.

We will then announce the top ten choirs which go through to our final.

All the finalists will start with zero votes ahead of the Final Ten voting, which will open at 5pm on December 12 and close on Tuesday December 18 at 2pm. The overall winner of Song for Christmas will then be announed on our website and in the Courier on Wednesday December 19.

The winning group will receive £200.

I can't believe you haven't got more votes! I think you've all done so well - and that takes a lot to say as my daughters are in another school choir. Hope you make the finals you deserve it. Get voting everyone! H
