An academy offering a second chance to local footballers in West Yorkshire is holding a second trial day in the hope of unearthing some hidden gems.

Further to their successful first trial at Brighouse Town, West Yorkshire-based ExPro Academies, which is run by ex-Halifax player Neil Ross and former Brighouse coach Mark Brier, are now inviting back several players from the initial opportunity to challenge some newly released players from our region’s professional football clubs for a place in the academy.

Players from Bradford City, Huddersfield Town, Leeds Utd, Sheffield Utd, Rotherham, FC Halifax Town, Wigan, York City, Oldham and Rochdale will be in attendance and over 40 players are once again expected.

The second round trial will take place at Calderdale College from 6.30pm to 9pm on the 3G astroturf pitch.
