Durham next for Tykes

YORKSHIRE will be looking to build on their impressive opening game success over Worcestershire when they take on Durham in their opening first Division One home clash of the season starting tomorrow.

The Tykes were impressive at New Road where they saw off the hosts by nine wickets in three days, but know they will need to replaicate that form when they take on their visitors from the north east.

Yorkshire are likely to select from the same 14-man squad with Anthony McGrath back in contention for a place following a leg injury

Durham possess a talented bowling attack which includes 19-year-old Ben Stokes who performed well in their opening victory over Hampshire

Durham took 11 points from their draw at the Rose Bowl and their batsman all scored runs in their total of 473 to build confidence.

Steve Harmison is a doubt after suffering a bruised left forearm while batting at the Rise Bowl, Mark Stoneman is also out with a broken bone in a wrist and Graham Onions is still being eased back into action after back surgery.
