Darlington now top of the table in National League North

Darlington moved to the top of the National League North table on Wednesday night after beating Chorley 2-0.

Two goals from Terry Galbraith mean the North-East side are two points clear in first place ahead of Fylde and third-placed Halifax, who play each other on Saturday.

A win for either side in that game could take them back to first place, depending on Darlington’s result.

Town are then at home to Harrogate on Bank Holiday Monday.
