Double award for Aspin and Seddon

Neil Aspin, seen here collecting the Manager of the Month award for January, has won the award for November too

Boss Neil Aspin and striker Gareth Seddon have been voted the Conference North’s Manager and Player of the Month for November.

Aspin guided the Shaymen to victory over Vauxhall Motors and Droylsden in the league as well as Cammell Laird and Altrincham in the FA Trophy as they scored 14 goals in November.

Seddon meanwhile scored one of the fastest hat-tricks ever during the 5-2 win over Altrincham which saw Town progress to the second round of the Trophy, where they will mean Maidstone United in a fortnight.

Seddon also scored the vital penalty in the previous round against Cammell Laird.
