Hutchison, who captained Worcester in the game, was impressed by Billy Heath’s side and especially their goal threat, with Town joint top scorers along with Darlington in the division ahead of Tuesday night’s clash with Stockport.

He said: “Billy’s been around a long time and David’s (Bosomworth) brought in a guy with a lot of pedigree and a lot of experience at the top end of this league.

“They did well at North Ferriby - got promotion and won the FA Trophy.

“He’s a good gaffer and he’s got a lot of his old boys in from Ferriby, and he’s kept the likes of Connor Hughes, Richard Peniket, Jordan Burrow - the players I would’ve said you needed to keep.

“They clearly look like they’ve got a lot of goals in them with the likes of Denton.

“He’s not my favourite striker to play against!

“He’s a handful but I felt like we dealt with him quite well.

“He was winning the flick-ons but nothing was really coming of them, other than for the first goal.”
