Town recorded a vital win on Tuesday night when they beat Boreham Wood 3-2 thanks to Connor Hughes’ last-minute winner.

That result has left them two points above the relegation zone with two games in hand in 20th place.

But that position could change drastically depending on Saturday’s results; if Altrincham win and Halifax lose, Town will drop back into the bottom four, but if Town win, they could rise as high as 17th place if other results go their way.

Aldershot have only one win in their last eight games, and squandered a 2-0 half-time lead as they lost 4-3 at home to Grimsby on Tuesday night.

They only have one win from their last six away games, in which they have conceded 17 goals, including an 8-2 thrashing at Chester.

Charlie Walker is their top-scorer with 12 league goals, but only has one in his last six appearances.

Only Bromley have conceded more away goals than Aldershot, but no side has conceded as many home goals as Halifax.

Town have lost only once in 15 home matches under Jim Harvey, and have won two, drawn two and lost two in their last six matches.

Matty Brown in set to return from his ankle injury for the game, but Sam Walker is also set to still be unavailable with a medial ligament injury.
