FC Halifax Town’s FA Trophy quarter-final with Dartord has been called off following a pitch inspection this morning.
Heavy snow fell in Calderdale overnight, leaving 12cm on The Shay surface, making the pitch unplayable despite the best efforts of supporters who cleared it on Wednesday morning.
The tie will now be played on Tuesday night at 7.45pm instead of the scheduled trip to Altrincham in the Blue Square North.
It is the fourth match in a row The Shaymen have seen fall victim to the big freeze since their 3-0 win against Chelmsford in the FA Trophy two weeks ago.
