FC Halifax Town: Worksop friendly postponed
FC Halifax Town's pre-season friendly at Worksop on Monday night (7.30pm) has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Two goals from Jordan Burrow, two from Richard Peniket and one each for Connor Hughes, Jamie Jackson, Elliott Harrison and Shiraz Khan earned Town a comfortable 8-1 win over their neighbours Brighouse Town at St Giles Road on Saturday.
Worksop lost 2-0 at home to Lincoln City on Saturday.
Unless the Worksop friendly is re-arranged before the weekend, Halifax’s next game is at Frickley on Saturday.
