Halifax 4-0 Tamworth: Fans Panel verdict
Adam Heslop
Man of the match
Long throws into the box were just one of the reasons I gave man of the match to Jordan Sinnott this week. He ran all over the pitch never shying away from a 50/50 ball and certainly had a positive effect on the game scoring his second goal of the campaign.
Highlight of the match
This has to be watching the delight on Peniket’s face when he scored not once, but twice. About time Richard, we are all delighted for you too. If he keeps it up he’ll definitely give Billy reason to keep him in his starting eleven.

Hide AdNot sure if I don’t understand the rules but I thought if a goal scoring chance was denied by a foul this was a sending off! I was gutted for my mate Big Tom when he was brought down by Tamworth’s keeper, no idea how he stayed on the pitch.

Jordan Sinnott. Drove the team forward at every opportunity.
Highlight of the match
Richard Peniket breaking his goal drought. He will score plenty if he gets far enough forward!
Moan of the match
Failing to press Tamworth back more, even though we won easily enough.

Hide AdTough decision to make as it was a very good all round team performance but I’ll go for Kevin Roberts who was excellent again.
Highlight of the match
For me it was Richard Peniket’s first goal, it’s been a struggle for him in front of goal since the injury he picked up at Altrincham a few seasons ago now so it was great to see him back amongst the goals and hopefully it will boost his confidence.
Moan of the match
Very hard to find fault, however it could be said that Town perhaps should have scored a lot more goals than they actually did!
