Shaymen set for two games a week

FC Halifax Town now face two games a week until the end of the season after their postponed games were rearranged.

Matches against Oxford City and Altrincham have had to be called off recently due to the wintry weather playing havoc with The Shaymen’s fixture list.

Town will now travel to Oxford on Tuesday, April 16 and to Altrincham on Tuesday April 23.

However, if their FA Trophy quarter-final against Dartford goes to a replay, it will be played on Wednesday, February 6, meaning the scheduled league game against Guiseley for the night before would then need to be rearranged.

Should Town reach the semi-finals of the competition, the two legs are scheduled to take place on February 16 and 23, which would mean the league matches against Droylsden and Stalybridge currently set for those days would need to be put back.
