Third time lucky as Town prepare for Motormen

Dale Johnson could return to bolster a Town side which didn't score during his suspension

Dale Johnson could return to bolster a Town side which didn't score during his suspension

FC Halifax will take on Vauxhall Motors tonight in a game which has already been re-arranged twice due to bad weather (7.45pm).

The game is the only Conference North game to be played tonight as Town look to close the 16 point gap to the top - and make inroads into the back log of fixtures which sees them as many as five games behind one of the teams ahead of them.

Dale Johnson is expected to return to the side after serving a three match ban, which could see Gareth Seddon or Lee Gregory, who is without a goal in his last seven matches, drop down to the bench.

Alternatively, Neil Aspin could sacrifice a midfielder and play three up front as the Shaymen look to score for the first time three games and avenge their 5-1 drubbing in this fixture - a game which Motors won with ease despite playing much of the game with only ten men.
