Halifax FA Saturday Cup holders Brighouse Old Boys face a trip to last season’s Halifax AFL runners-up Stump Cross in the third round of this season’s competition on November 16.

Calder ‘76, beaten finalists at the Shay earlier in the year, will also be on their travels in the last 16.

Their ‘reward’ for Saturday’s 2-1 win away to neighbours and Halifax AFL champions Midgley United is a game against either Elland side Huddersfield Amateurs from the Yorkshire Amateur League or West Riding County Amateur League giants Ovenden West Riding.

The Sunday competition is down to the last eight and Carrington, winners for the last two years, face division-lower Oddfellows away.
