Town have signed Bradford City striker Ross Hannah on loan until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old frontman, who came off the bench for the Bantams at Wimbledon in midweek, is familiar to Town fans from his days at Matlock for whom he scored 102 goals in 130 appearances.
That record earned him a move to Valley Parade last May where he has bagged three goals in 26 senior appearances and earlier this month he penned a one year extension with the League Two side.
The Sheffield-born player’s deal with City was his first in professional football, putting him firmly in the category of a late developer.
Before his fantastic spell at Matlock, he was with Worksop, Stocksbridge Park Steels, Gainsborough Trinity, Belper Town and Hednesford.
Hannah was made available when City brought in Barnsley frontman Chris Dagnall on a temporary deal to the end of the campaign.
He will go straight into the Town squad for the game against Gloucester City when the Shaymen will be looking to get back on track after the midweek defeat at the hands of Bishop’s Stortford.
