Newly crowned League Champions King Cross CB&AC have two games left to get their celebrations well and truly started. An away trip to Shoulder FC Northowram is the first venue on their championship party, made possible following Royal Hotel’s 0-0 draw with FC Bowling Green on Thursday night.
Three teams are contesting second place and two of them meet tomorrow when Halifax Hammers host Engineers.
Royal Hotel are also hopeful of finishing the season as runners-up but will need to improve on their recent run of form which has seen them claim just four points from the last 15 available. A home tie against Mount Tabor may well provide the much-needed impetus.
Carrington Rangers play Falcon Pine in the final Premier Division game of the day.
The Division One Championship was also claimed last Thursday with Elland Sports finishing on top. With a 100 per cent win record in the league so far this season, a visit to struggling Queens Head may not prove to be the toughest of challenges.
The Vine travel to play Sun Inn where a victory would claim the runners-up spot.
Hollins Holme welcome the visit of Greystones Social Club and Oddfellows visit FC Champs whilst Bradshaw and Ovenden Amateurs lock horns.
With the Division Two leaders Lee Mount not in action this weekend, Thornhill Briggs have the chance to close the gap between first and second place to just one point but face a tricky game away against Elland Sports Reserves.
Elsewhere, Top Club play Triangle and Stallions FC visit Stubbing Wharf.
