Champions League winner and World Cup semi-finalist Edgar Davids brings his unbeaten Barnet side to the Shay tomorrow (Saturday, 3pm kick-off) to take on FC Halifax Town.

The Bees are buzzing after a superb start to the season which has seen them win four of their first six games, including last week’s 3-2 win over Hyde.

Only Forest Green Rovers have scored more goals as them in the Skrill Premier, with England C striker Jake Hyde bagging five so far.

Davids only brought in five new players this summer after 14 players left the club following their relegation from League Two.

Ryan Toulson is a doubt for the game with a hamstring injury that kept him out of the Salisbury match last weekend.

Lois Maynard is also carrying a knock he picked up in that game, but may be fit to play.

Toulson is the only survivor from Town’s previous clash with Barnet, which the Bees won 3-2 after Halifax had led 2-0 at half-time.

Town’s last win over Barnet came back in 2001, with the Londoners winning the last five games between the two.

A draw or a win could take Barnet top, while a Town victory could see them move back into the play-off places.
