Neil Aspin says he hopes to reward Town fans’ loyalty with wins as his side prepare to face Conference North basement boys Hinckley United.

Over 300 fans made the trip to Chester on Wednesday night, with big away followings at Bishop’s Stortford and Bradford Park Avenue earlier this season too.

The reverse at Chester was Town’s first away defeat of the campaign , with the result coming despite Town dominating for long periods and creating the best of the chances.

And Aspin said if his side continued to put in performances like they did at Chester, the fans would be rewarded with good results.

“We don’t want to be getting beat and I don’t want supporters to travel and see us get beat,” he said.

“The fans who made the journey to Chester would have to say our play was good and that the players gave their all.

“I’m sure the fans will be rewarded with better if we keep playing like that.”

Town travel to Leicestershire tomorrow looking to close the gap on leaders Chester and Guiseley, who face each other, and Brackley Town, all of who have maximum points so far this season.
