FC Halifax Town: Shaymen sign Peterborough midfielder on loan

Peterborough midfielder Kieran Sadlier has become Darren Kelly’s first signing as Town manager after joining the club on a three-month loan.

Sadlier has represented the Republic of Ireeland at under 17, under 19 and under 21 level but has only made 12 senior club appearances.

He played 11 times for St Mirren last season, who he joined from West Ham after spending 11 years with The Hammers, and has played once for Peterborough in their 4-1 League Cup defeat at home to Charlton.

He is expected to be in contention to make his Halifax debut against Woking at The Shay.
