FC United 0-3 FC Halifax Town: Fans Panel verdict
Andrew Mann
Man of the match
Dion Charles. Very creative, beat his man, great finish for the goal. Shame he had to go off injured, hopefully nothing serious.
Moment of the match
Good thinking and excellent technique showed for the quick free kick that led to towns third goal, killing the match before half time.

Hide AdCan’t understand why Denton starts and Morgan is on the bench. Denton offers nothing and Morgan is the best striker at the club, doesn’t make sense.
Rob Brown
Man of the match
Jordan Sinnott, scored a great goal and also great free kick setting up the Shaymen’s third goal too. Looked calm and in control all afternoon.
Moment of the match
21st minute; with the Shaymen a goal ahead, FC United missed an easy chance to equalise. The striker made a right mess only six yards out; if that had gone in, who knows?
Moan of the match
Nothing to moan about this week, a great performance and three well earned points.

Hide AdWhen a forward finds he has the beating of the defence, he is in for an enjoyable game. Dion Charles was the star on a sunny Manchester afternoon, providing entertainment for the large Shay contingent, particularly in the first half.
Moment of the match
All three goals were simple but clever. Our first has to be the moment, as it featured a classic cross-shot into the far top corner – a nightmare for any goalie.
Moan of the match
Fairly trivial, in that the viewing from behind the goal in this new ground left a lot to be desired. On the plus side, however, we were afforded a warm welcome coupled with a very reasonable admission price, so we won’t complain!
Adam Heslop
Man of the match
There were lots of contenders for this today, but have to give it to Liam King who ran the midfield. You wouldn’t have guessed on today’s performance he wasn’t starting every game.

Hide AdDion Charles stunning strike is my moment of the match without a doubt. This is the type of player we need up front, creative and not frightened to have a go!
Moan of the match
Not sure I can find one of these, this was one of the friendliest grounds we’ve been to this season, we had great weather, superb burgers and we won 3-0. Perfect afternoon all round.
