The highest home scorers in the Skrill Premier host the meanest away defence when FC Halifax Town take on Cambridge at the Shay tomorrow (Saturday, January 18, 3pm kick-off).

Town are one of only two teams to have scored at the Abbey Stadium when Lee Gregory found the net there in Town’s 5-1 defeat on the opening weekend of the season.

Gregory has notched 11 goals in his last six outings at the Shay, with Town averaging three goals per game from their last nine league matches at home.

Cambridge have only conceded eight goals from their twelve away league fixtures so far, and have returned undefeated from the likes of Luton, Barnet, Bury, Grimsby and Wrexham on their travels.

Midfielder Tom Bonner is set to miss the game with an ankle injury, but striker Matthew Barnes-Homer could make his début after joining from Forest Green Rovers on a free transfer.

Reece Gray could replace Kevin Holsgrove for Town after the latter’s below-par performance at Wrexham, while new signings Craig Clay and Marlon Jackson could also feature.

A win for the Shaymen could lift them as high as fourth, but defeat could see them drop as low as 10th.
