FC Halifax Town begin the defence of the FA Trophy on Saturday when they travel to Matlock Town (3pm).

Town won the competition for the first time in their history in May when they beat Grimsby 1-0 at Wembley.

The only players who started at Wembley who are likely to start on Saturday are Kevin Roberts and Josh Macdonald.

Matlock are sixth in the Evo-Stik Premier Division and have won four of their last five games.

They have lost only once in 12 home games this season.

Marcus Dinanga is their top league goalscorer with 11 goals. He is on loan from Burton Albion.

Matlock have joint-managers in Glenn Kirkwood and Craig Hopkins, who were appointed in May.

Halifax have Nathan Hotte available again after suspension, and he could replace Cliff Moyo in defence, which would see Kevin Roberts move to right-back.
