Andrew Milne will not be offered a new contract by FC Halifax Town.
The 20-year-old central defender arrived at the Shay midway through last season from Barrow and featured in the final few games of the campaign in a three-man central defence.
But boss Neil Aspin has announced that the former Leeds United junior will not be with the club when they began life in the Blue Square Bet North next term.
His departure comes days after news of the first summer arrival - former Crewe Alexandra defender Scott McManus from one of last season’s major Evo-Stik Premier rivals FC United of Manchester.
Milne, whose career also includes spells at Darlington, made 12 appearances for the Shaymen, including three as a substitute and three in either the Evo-Stik League Cup, in which he made his debut at Bradford Park Avenue, or West Riding County FA Cup.
