Jamie Rainford looks set to leave the Shaymen on a short term loan deal this week.
The striker seen his chances limited this season, and although he has featured in six of Town’s eight games, all of his appearances have been from the substitutes bench.
Rainford was at the Shay on Saturday and took part in the warm-up, but wasn’t named in the match day squad with trialist Simon Hackney taking his place.
Aspin said afterwards that there was a strong possibility that Rainford would leave.
“I’ve had a chat with Jamie and he expressed that he wants to play games and wants to go on loan, which I have no problem with,” he said.
“I think he would like to be a bit nearer to where he lives and there are a few other reasons too and I can understand that.
“If the chance comes up where we can loan him out then that is a possibility,” he said.
