FC Halifax Town continue their pre-season programme with a trip to Altrincham tomorrow (Saturday, 3pm kick-off).

Former Town striker James Walshaw and ex-Guiseley midfielder Danny Boshell are among the new signings at Moss Lane this summer.

But Lee Sinnott’s men are yet to win in pre-season so far, having lost 3-2 to Accrington Stanley, 3-1 to Tranmere Rovers and 2-0 at Trafford.

Town manager Neil Aspin said: “We’ve got a tough game on Saturday. They were a good team last season and they’ve probably improved over the summer but we need to be tested.

“We’ve had a couple of players on trial over the last few weeks and one or two of them will probably play on Saturday.

“If they’re going to get found out, I’d rather it was now than when the season starts.”

Tickets for the Altrincham game will cost £7 for adults and £3 for concessions, while under 5’s can go for free.
