FC Halifax Town will be aiming to complete a perfect week by making it three wins out of three when they host Eastleigh on Saturday (3.0).
Town have been involved in two eye-catching games already in the past few days, beating Alfreton 5-3 in the FA Trophy last Saturday before overcoming Dartford 2-1 on Tuesday despite having two players sent-off.
Lois Maynard and James Bolton now face three-game bans as a result, although Town are undecided as to whether to appeal against Maynard’s dismissal.
Their absence could mean recalls to the starting line-up for Kevin Roberts and Scott Boden, who came off the bench to score the winner in midweek.
Jamie Jackson is said to be making good progress recovering from his hamstring injury and could also make a return to the squad on Saturday.
Eastleigh have notched 16 goals in their last six matches, and beat Lincoln 4-0 last time out.
But their form has been patchy of late, with only three wins in their last nine games.
Full-back Michael Green, who scored in Eastleigh’s 4-1 win over Halifax in October, serves the second of his two-game ban, while skipper Dean Beckwith should also be unavailable with a damaged shoulder.
Fifth-placed Eastleigh could move up to fourth with a win, while a Town victory could see them rise up to fourth and overtake their opponents.
