FC Halifax Town travel to Welling on Saturday (3pm kick-off) hoping to be only the second team to win there this season.

Only leaders Barnet have won at Park View Road so far this term, although The Wings’ poor away record of one win in 10 means they are currrently 21st in the Conference table.

Jamie Day’s side have lost four of their last five games, winning just one in their last nine.

Their 0-0 draw against Macclesfield last Saturday was Welling’s first clean sheet in nine matches.

Welling’s Harry Beautyman and Jake Gallagher both played for England C at the Shay on Tuesday, with only Woking’s Scott Rendell and Barnet’s John Akinde scoring more than Beautyman’s 11 league goals so far.

Beautyman scored for England in Tuesday’s 4-2 win over Estonia, but has only netted once in his last four after a run of eight goals in nine games before that.

Josh Gillies’ loan move from Carlisle has had to be cancelled after the midfielder sustained a broken rib in training with his parent club.

But skipper Marc Roberts is expected to recover from the ankle injury that kept him out of England C duty.

Welling will be without defender Chris Bush and midfielder Joe Healy, who are both suspended.

A Lee Gregory penalty sealed a 1-0 win for Halifax at Park View Road last season.

A win for Halifax could lift them up to fourth in the table, while a win for Weling could move them out of the relegation zone.
