Town cannot bask in the glory of Tuesday night’s stunning fightback - they have to build on it.
That was the message from striker Lee Gregory who bagged two goals in the victory at Guiseley which came after the Shaymen had found themselves trailing 3-1 at the break.
Just three days after the humiliating 5-1 home defeat to Vauxhall Motors, many sides might have folded at that stage.
And Gregory admitted it had been crucial that the side showed their battling qualities to get back on track.
“It was absolutely massive,” he said. “Going to Guiseley, especially the way we had been playing, and to go 2-0 down we were thinking ‘not again’.
“But we came out fighting in the second half and got the win. For the first time in a while I think we started looking like a team.
“Once we scored the first goal in the second half we grew in confidence. We got the ball down and starting playing again.
“We will take it into training tonight then into Saturday when we will be looking for another win.”
Gregory’s double took his tally for the season to five and moved him to the top of the club’s scoring chart.
“I was in the right place at the right time and that will do me,” he said. “I feel so confident in front of goal and if I get a couple of chances I am always going to put one in the net.
“Hopefully I will keep getting those chances.”
