Shaymen to play Brentford away in FA Cup if they beat Eastleigh

FC Halifax Town will play Championship side Brentford away in the third round of the FA Cup if they get past Eastleigh in their second round replay.

Town drew 3-3 at Eastleigh on Saturday, and the two teams will battle it out for a place in the third round at The Shay on December 13.

If Town win that game, their third round tie will take place on the weekend of January 7 and 8.

Halifax last reached the third round of the FA Cup in 1989 when they lost to Kettering after a replay.
