Solihull Moors stand in the way of Town and a potential crack at Football League opposition in the FA Cup after the sides were drawn together in the fourth qualifying round.
And the Shaymen should be favourites to win away and progress to the first round proper with Solihull currently propping up the Blue Square Bet North with just two wins from their opening 12 league games.
Moors beat Evo Stik One South Grantham 3-2 at the weekend to get through while Town were cruising past One North Lancaster City 3-0 at the Giant Axe.
And while boss Neil Aspin was pleased to have avoided Blue Square Bet Premier opposition he knows that Solihull will be as keen to progress as the Shaymen.
“In the last two seasons we have played teams from the Conference National so at least we have a game against a side from our own league,” he said.
“But both teams will feel they have a chance of winning.”
As for being favourites to go through, Aspin added: “After the way we played against Vauxhall Motors, who were struggling in the league, I don’t think we can take anything for granted.”
Town have been knocked out at home by Wrexham and Mansfield in the last two FA Cup campaigns and are in the fourth qualifying round for the third successive season.
Their last two conquerors have been draw at home to York and Fleetwood respectively, proving how many potentially tougher opponents than Solihull there were in the draw.
The Shaymen will travel to the Midlands on October 29 - the day they were due to entertain the Moors in a league game at the Shay. No new date has yet been arranged for the league game.
