First plays third in the Conference Premier when FC Halifax Town host Lincoln on Bank Holiday Monday (3pm kick-off).

Halifax are the only club in the Conference with a 100 per cent record, while Lincoln have won three of their first four games.

Only Halifax, Chelsea, Swansea and Morecambe now boast 100 per cent records in the top five divisions of English football.

Lincoln’s latest victory came on Saturday with a 3-2 win over Braintree, although midfielder Tony Diagne was sent-off so will miss the trip to the Shay.

The Imps have already beaten Barnet and Altrincham on their travels this season.

Manager Gary Simpson retained the bulk of last season’s squad over the summer, with only four arrivals and four departures.

Striker Jordan Burrow has already scored twice since joining from Stevenage.

Neil Aspin may be tempted to keep the same side that played so impressively at Chester, although winger Adam Smith could be line to start after being left out of the 16-man squad at the weekend.

Lincoln were thrashed 5-1 at the Shay last season but exacted some revenge by beating Town 3-1 at Sincil Bank.
