Town bid for five in a row

TOWN will be looking to extend their winning run in the Evo-Stik Premier Division to five matches when they entertain Nantwich at the Shay tomorrow (3.0).

The Shaymen go into the game 12 points clear at the top of the table.

And boss Neil Aspin is keen to see his side maintain their impressive form as they continue their quest for a second successive promotion.

“Everyone wants to beat us because we are top of the league,” he said. “But we played well at North Ferriby last weekend and we want to continue that form and push on.”

Aspin reports no fresh injury concerns ahead of tomorrow’s clash with the 11 who started the game in East Yorkshire all having been left out of the starting line up in the midweek County Cup win at Harrogate Railway.

Scott Phelan, a half time substitute at Station View, is available before beginning a three-match ban following his red card in the win at Bradford.
