Neil Aspin wants to see a response from his team against Harrogate after FC Halifax Town’s 3-3 thriller on Saturday.

The Shaymen looked to have sealed a dramatic comeback when they overturned a 2-0 half-time deficit to lead 3-2, but Histon pegged them back to take a share of the points.

The Town boss says he is concerned at the number of goals his side have conceded lately and wants to get back to winning ways against Harrogate.

He said: “We need to respond against Harrogate because it’s two games in a row we’ve conceded three goals and if you’re leaking goals that gives you a problem.

“We need to start again on Tuesday but we’ll certainly want to keep a clean sheet.

“They’re having a very good run at the moment and they’ll be pushing to get in the play-offs.

“I’ve watched them a couple of times recently and they’ve had good results and scored a lot of goals.

“They’ll test us and there’s going to be some tough games ahead but we’ve got players who’ve got ability.

“We’re capable of doing well and winning games and we need to make sure we pick up three points on Tuesday but it will be a tough game.”
