FC Halifax Town host their final home game of pre-season when they play Notts County at the Shay on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

Town lost for the first time in pre-season against Preston on Wednesday, but have beaten fellow League One teams Rochdale and Barnsley on their own patch, as well as winning at Tadcaster and Harrogate Town.

Josh Wilson, Danny Schofield and Richard Peniket all missed the Preston game through injury but all three could be in contention to feature against the Magpies.

Former Bradford winger Garry Thompson could make his first appearance for County after joining them earlier this week.

Manager Shaun Derry has added plenty of experience to his squad with the likes of Thompson, Hayden Mullins and Alan Smith, who could be the second former England international to feature at the Shay in four days after Kevin Davies played for Preston.

It will be their seventh pre-season game after wins over Arnold Town, Rolls Royce Leisure and Carlton Town, a draw at Nuneaton and defeats to Mansfield and Derby.
