FC Halifax Town’s game at Workington on Saturday (March 30, 3pm kick-off) has “every chance” of going ahead, according to the club’s general manager Alec Graham.
Town travel to Cumbria for their first game in 11 days after their previous two matches against Harrogate and Chester were both postponed.
Halifax Rugby League Club’s game at Whitehaven in Cumbria was the only Co-Operative Championship fixture to beat the freeze last weekend, while there is no snow forecast for Workington before and during the weekend.
Graham said: “I’d say it’s got a pretty decent chance of going ahead. The pitch is firm but not frozen, and we our game agianst Bishop’s Stortford was played on Tuesday night.
“There’s every chance of the game being on as we didn’t get the snow that you had in Halifax.”
