Watford have reached an agreement with Oscar Garcia for the Spaniard to become their new head coach and it should be announced later today.
Watford had been in talks with three candidates over the weekend to replace Beppe Sannino who resigned on Sunday, but Garcia was their number one target.
They faced competition from Leeds United and another Spanish club was also interested.
But Garcia has agreed to join Watford and will be unveiled as the club’s new boss imminently.
Steve Clarke, former manager of West Brom, is now favourite for the Leeds manager position. Leeds have been looking for a new since last week after sacking Dave Hockaday.
