Holders Stump Cross look sure to face a stern test in the second round of the Halifax AFL’s Skircoat Green Physiotherapy Challenge Cup.

Tony Kniveton’s side have been drawn away to last season’s Division One champions Hebden Royd Red Star, who have made a bright start on their return to the Premier Division.

Other leading fancies who must also travel on Saturday, October 26 are Premier champs Midgley United (to Sowerby Utd) and Ryburn United (to Salem).

Volunteer Arms, who upset division-higher Sowerby Bridge in last Saturday’s first round, are away to Premier side Holmfield.

Midgley’s second team travel to holders Spring Hall Celtic in the second round of the Ricky O’Brien Invitation Cup.
