Huddersfield Town have sacked manager Lee Clark.
Clark’s Terriers were beaten in last night’s home clash with fellow promotion contenders with Sheffield United.
The 39-year-old former Newcastle and Fulham star was linked to the vacant manager’s post at Leeds United following the sacking of Simon Grayson two weeks ago.
Clark masterminded Town’s 43-game unbeaten run spanning this season and last, but failed to gain promotion when his side lost in the League One play off final to Peterborough. The Terriers sit fourth in the League One table, four points off an automatic spot.
