Brighouse Town drew 1-1 for the second time in four days when they shared the spoils with Ossett Albion at Hove Edge last night.

Saturday’s trip to Harrogate Railway Athletic in Division One North of the Evo-Stik NPL League also produced that scoreline.

Paul Quinn’s men were relieved with last night’s outcome, which came courtesy of a last-gasp equaliser.

They gained a 90th-minute penalty when Tom Matthews was pushed over and the striker got up to score from the spot.

Ossett had taken the lead through Kane Reece on 72 minutes.

Town, who are without a win in almost a month and lie 15th in the table, are next in action on Tuesday when they have a home game against Stocksbridge Park Steels in the first round of the Doodson Sport Cup.
