Wednesday’s final Halifax-Huddersfield Alliance event of 2012, the away-day at Cobble Hall, Leeds, has been cancelled.
The course is unplayable after heavy rain.
That will be a big disappointment to organisers and competitors with more than 100 players due to take part.
It means there will be a break of more than three months between events. The fifth Alliance was at Halifax Golf Club on Tuesday, November 13 and the next is now scheduled for Crosland Heath on Tuesday, February 19.
