Richard is the Elland prize guy

RICHARD Harris took top honours when Paul Green held his Elland Captain's Prize competition over two weekends.

Harris had nett scores of 68 and 65 playing off five.

The Ladies Day winner was Jeanne Garside, who was completing a double, having won the Vice Captain's Day event.

One hundred members attended the presentation.

Elland has vacancies for lady members but the men's list is full with maybe one or two places this summer.
