Holders SBCI have been draw at home to Northowram Hedge Top, the only non-Premier Division team left, in the quarter-finals of the Halifax Parish Cup.
SBCI have made a poor start to their title defence in the Foster’s Halifax League but their knockout form has been better.
They won again in the league’s Twenty/20 competition last night, beating Warley, having overcome Mytholmroyd by 56 runs in the cup’s second round on Sunday.
Nick Hall’s Northowram earned their place in the last eight with a 16-run home win over section-higher Bradshaw at the weekend.
League leaders Jer Lane face a tricky trip to Triangle, where there should be plenty of runs, while two close contests are on the cards when 2009 cup winners Booth go to Thornton and Sowerby Bridge host Warley.
Six of the clubs involved in the cup also have their second teams through to the Crossley Shield quarter-finals.
Matches are on Sunday, June 16 but Thornton and SBCI seconds clearly won’t be able to play at home as their firsts will take priority.
The Shield holders are Warley, who face a trip to Copley.
Parish Cup: Sowerby Bridge v Warley, Thornton v Booth, SBCI v Northowram, Triangle v Jer Lane.
Crossley Shield: Thornton v Sowerby Bridge, Blackley v Booth, Copley v Warley, SBCI v Triangle.
