Eight year old Warren Everett finally got his hands on a Muay Thai Celtic title belt following a comprehensive showing in his bout at the Tower Mount Social Club in Birmingham.
The youngster from Ovenden had been denied the chance of fighting for the prestigious title earlier this year when his scheduled opponent pulled out.
As a result Everett was in no mood to pass up this chance as he showed skill and determination to gain a unanimous decision after winning all five rounds.
It was an emotiuonal win for Everett as he dedicated the fioght to his grandad, Ray Everett, who passed away earlier this year.
The victory also means that Everett, who trains out of the Spartans Whitworth club, has maintained his unbeaten record under the guidance of two times British champion Gordon Estlick who has been named Trainer of the Year.
Everett now has his sights set on the British Championships in May.
