Leeds United return to league action when they entertain Scunthorpe United tomorrow.
And their recent good form has been rewarded with the naming of boss Simon Grayson as manager of the month for December.
"I'm proud to have won it," he said. "A lot of hard work has gone in by my players and the rest of the staff.
"It's testament to the efforts of everyone and how hard we have worked over the past few weeks and months."
Grayson has been handed a boost with midfielder Ramon Nunez extending his contract at Elland Road until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old, who has an option to stay for next season as well, recently won his 35th cap for Honduras and is in the squad for games against Costa Rica and Guatemala.
His last appearance for the Whites was in the 4-1 win at Scunthorpe.
Former Senegal international Amdy Faye will not be having his contract at Elland Road extended.
The 33-year-old joined United in October and made eight appearances.
"We've agreed with Amdy that his contract won't be extended," said Grayson.
"He really needs to play more games than he's been able to while he's been here, and opportunities have been limited for him.
"His experience around the team and the training ground has helped us, and we wish him well for the future."
